Praveen Jakhar is a well known name in the journalistic field was born in Mumbai. He started his journalistic career in 2002 with the renowned hindi daily, Rajasthan Patrika (Jaipur) as a trainee journalist. Within no time, his work got recognition and gradually got promotions one after another. In 2004 he became a Working Journalist, in 2006 a Sub-Editor & in 2010 a Senior Sub-Editor. In addition to this, he was also a part of the Editorial board of Patrika Year Book (2008) and was the Regional Coordinator U.S. & Asia for Karpoor Chand Kulish International Journalism Award in 2007, 2008 and 2009. He also ably led the Rajasthan Patrika’s Spot Light Team (Special Team) from May 2010 to May 2011. From June 2011 to May 2012 he serves as Sr. Sub Editor in It’s INDIA. From July 2012 to till date he serves as Editor-in-Chief at Officers Times (India’s first Hindi Magazine for Indian Bureaucrats and All India Officers), along with Editor-in-Chief of Vidhayak.com (No. 1 Political News Channel in Rajasthan).
He is well known for his lucid, objective and frank writings and his stories were covered on the front pages on the newspaper. He has developed an innovative art of writing on investigative cases. During a short time as journalist, he has covered many National and International Investigative & development issues in Journalism.
